Kanye West was seen at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago with a white nationalist live-streamer who marched in Charlottesville: report

Ye was spotted at Mar-a-Lago with alt-right figure Nick Fuentes, per Politico and The Daily Beast.
Ye and Fuentes were also spotted at the airport in Miami together. 
The Daily Beast confirmed with a source that Ye met Trump for dinner, but without Fuentes.

Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, was seen at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday with Nick Fuentes, a leading alt-right figure and white nationalist. 

Ye and Fuentes were first spotted together at an airport in Miami on Tuesday. Later on Tuesday night, Ye tweeted about meeting Trump and asking him to be his 2024 running mate.

Politico and The Daily Beast both reported that Fuentes and Ye were seen together at Trump’s golf club. A source also told The Daily Beast’s Zachary Petrizzo that while Ye dined with Trump on Tuesday, Fuentes was not there for that meeting. 

Neither representatives for Fuentes nor a lawyer for Ye returned Insider’s requests for comment. 

Fuentes is well-known for being a participant at the 2017 white supremacist “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville. This rally turned violent when an avowed neo-Nazi drove his car into a group of counterprotesters, killing a woman and injuring 35 people.

Fuentes also hosts an online show called “America First with Nicholas Fuentes,” where he has been known to make anti-semitic comments. 

The Anti-Defamation League, a civil rights group, also describes Fuentes as a leader of the “Groyper Army.” This is a loosely organized alt-right group that espouses pro-white, racist, and anti-semitic views.
