Report: Cardinals’ Patrick Peterson suspended 8 games for PED use


Arizona Cardinals star cornerback Patrick Peterson has been suspended for the first eight games of the 2019 NFL season for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Thursday.

Peterson is an eight-time Pro Bowler and a three-time All-Pro selection.

Last season with the Cardinals, the 28-year-old recorded 54 tackles and two interceptions in 16 games.
