Edmonton weather: At least it’s a dry humidity

A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Wednesday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measure 16 C with a 15 km/h wind coming from the west, northwest. Waking up to the sound of rainfall is extremely soothing, so I’m not even mad at it. The showers are expected to stick around today with another risk of an afternoon thunderstorm. Looks like the rain will continue right through ’till Sunday, so don’t put that umbrella away just yet!

Today: A few showers ending early this morning then a mix of sun and cloud. 30 per cent chance of showers late this afternoon. Risk of a thunderstorm late this afternoon. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 this morning. High 26 C. Humidex 29. UV index 8 or very high.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. 30 per cent chance of showers early this evening with risk of a thunderstorm. Low 14 C.

Tomorrow: Sunny in the morning then a mix of sun and cloud with 30 per cent chance of showers late in the afternoon. Risk of a thunderstorm late in the afternoon. High 26 C. Humidex 27. UV index 8 or very high. Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers overnight. Low 13 C.
