Gin is fast becoming the most popular tipple in bars across Aberdeenshire, and Scotland as a whole. It is as fashionable as it is refreshing. Apart from the taste, gin drinkers love this versatile tipple as it comes in a variety of flavours, colours, and specially-designed bottles. For men and women, gin has never been so popular. Perhaps you are reading this in agreement? Or maybe you are not a gin drinker at all? Whether you are a seasoned sipper, or a complete beginner, there is one place you need to go to this summer, and that’s Aberdeen Gin Fest.
The annual event is back for a second year running at The Lemon Tree for a two-day celebration of gin, as more than double the number of exhibitors promise to attend this year’s festival than in 2017!

Unlike the previous year, guests attending the festival – on July 6 and 7 – will be able to purchase their favourite bottle (or two) directly from the exhibitors’ stands at The Lemon Tree. As well as celebrating traditional gins, there will be an opportunity to sample trendy new gin products. And it’s not just gin – everyone will be catered for with non-gin-related products also on offer.
