Police carry out drug searches in Aberdeen

Police officers have carried out a number of drug searches in Aberdeen

Members of the Mastrick Community Policing Team acted on intelligence, carrying out the warrants between May 10-15.

These investigations have resulted in a 31-year-old man being charged. He will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

A low two-figure sum of cannabis was also recovered.

Inquiry officer PC Aaron Scoular said: “We will act on the concerns reported to us by our communities. Any information will be taken seriously and acted upon. I would like to thank the public for assisting us.
