Workers at an Adams County recycling facility said they experienced an “alarming situation” Thursday morning when they found a dead body among the recycled materials delivered to Alpine Waste and Recycling Facility, officials said.
“Adams County public safety personnel are on the scene investigating, and for now the recycling line is shut down,” read a statement from the recycling facility’s spokesman Steve Caulk.
The facility is located at 645 W. 53rd Place. in Denver.

“We have no further information that we can share at this time,” Caulk said.
