“Supergirl” (8 p.m., The CW): Did you miss her? After a nine-week break, our caped crusader soars back into action. “The Voice” (8 p.m., NBC): We’re getting down to crunch time. Tonight, the Live Playoff Rounds begin as each artist performs with the hopes of being chosen by their coach to continue on to the Live Shows.
“I Am Evidence” (8 p.m., HBO): This revelatory documentary examines why hundreds of thousands of rape kits, containing crucial DNA evidence, are languishing untested in police-evidence storage rooms across the country. Mariska Hargitay (“Law & Order: SVU”), a longtime advocate for survivors of sexual assault, produced the film.
“Was It Him: The Many Murders of Ed Edwards” (9 p.m., Paramount Network): When Wayne Wolfe discovered that infamous serial killer Ed Edwards was his estranged grandfather he was compelled to answer one potentially life-altering question—are killers born, or are they made? In this six-part documentary series, Wolfe joins former Sergeant Detective and FBI Cold Case Task Force Officer John Cameron on his quest to prove that Ed Edwards is the man responsible for some of most astonishingly high-profile murders of the 20th Century.
“Scorpion” (10 p.m., CBS): In the Season 4 finale, Team Scorpion heads to Northeast Africa where they must carefully navigate a minefield in order to save the lives of local villagers. Also, Paige and Walter’s relationship takes a shocking turn, and Toby and Happy make an important decision.
