Sebastian Janikowski has officially left the Raiders, but he may stay in the AFC West.
The Raiders all-time leader in scoring and games played has planned a visit to the Los Angeles Chargers, according to an ESPN report Wednesday.
Former Raiders’ K Sebastian Janikowski is expected to visit the Los Angeles Chargers, per source. Janikowski could go from Oakland to LA.

Janikowski, 40, was informed by the Raiders on Valentine’s Day he would not be in their plans in 2018. The Raiders have since brought back exclusive rights free agent Giorgio Tavecchio on a one-year, $550,000 deal.

Tavecchio handled kicking duties in 2017 as Janikowski spent the entire season on injured reserve with a back injury. He told the Bay Area News Group on Feb. 22 he had been healthy since midseason and planned on resuming his career.
The Chargers have struggled with their place kicking in recent years, going through four players — Nick Novak, YoungHoe Koo, Travis Coons and Nick Rose — last season alone.
