Abbotsford police arrested two men and seized cash, drugs and a firearm while executing a pair of search warrants last week.
Abbotsford Police Department’s drug enforcement unit executed raids at two Abbotsford residences on March 8 where they seized an assault rifle, more than $35,000, fentanyl, crack cocaine and other evidence consistent with drug trafficking.
“It is anticipated the arrest of these individuals and the items seized will significantly disrupt the drug trade in Abbotsford and further improve public safety through the targeting of gang associates within the community,” Abbotsford police staff Sgt. Dan Culbertson.
Kulvir Sandhu, 23, has been remanded in custody and his facing weapons and drug trafficking charges. A second man was released with charges still pending.
