Bay Area wine, beer and spirits events for Feb. 10 and beyond

Beer Tasting and Sudsy Supper: Craft brews and hard cider from local breweries will be featured at the fifth annual beer tasting and dinner dance hosted by St. Bart’s Church. Burrell School Vineyards Valentine’s Dinner: Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an elegant five-course dinner with vintage wine pairings. Two seatings available: A 5:30 p.m. sunset seating in an intimate tasting room overlooking the vineyard and Santa Cruz Mountains or the 7 p.m. seating in a historic old schoolhouse. Feb. 14. Red Carpet Evening: This Alexander Valley Film Society fundraiser brings a dash of Hollywood glamour with an evening of film, fashion, food and fun, featuring a red-carpet entrance, a silent-auction lounge and the Academy Awards on the big screen during an elegant seated dinner. 4 p.m. March 4. Presidents Day Wine Weekend: Visit participating wineries in Calavaras County for a weekend of wine tasting, light bites, live music and special offers. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 17-18. $25-$40.

Lodi Wine & Chocolate Weekend: Now in its 21st year, Lodi’s Wine and Chocolate Weekend offers a diverse selection of handcrafted wines and sweet and savory chocolate bites at 50 wineries in the Lodi appellation. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 10-11. $55-$65.

Beer Week dinners: Fieldwork Brewing Company co-owner and head brewer Alex Tweet is returning to Comal for two dinners featuring small-batch beers paired with Comal dishes. 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12-13. Comal, 2020 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley. $75.
