SAN JOSE — At least one person was killed in a vehicle collision late Monday night on southbound Highway 85 in South San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash, which involved a white Honda Civic and possibly up to six other vehicles, was reported at about 9:52 p.m. north of Great Oaks Boulevard, the CHP said.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene at about 10:17 p.m., according to the CHP.
All lanes of southbound Highway 85 are blocked. There is no estimated time to reopen.
Additional details about the collision were not immediately available Monday night.
