Self-described audiophile Dustin Hamilton just wants to turn up his tunes. But his Vancouver Island neighbours say his car stereo booms so loud it scares children and rattles pictures on the wall. The Saanich man has been banned from playing his car stereo, and driving his PT Cruiser unless he’s taking his girlfriend to work after 17 noise complaints. The the 24-year-old car-audio installer now faces a criminal charge of mischief. So we’re asking, do you think playing a car stereo too loud should be considered a crime?
