In an Instagram post, the 24-year-old pop star was effusive in her praise for her brother Braison Cyrus, whom she called a “most talented musician” for “stepping outside his comfort zone” and appearing in his first ever fashion show.
She also initially expressed gratitude to controversial Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for celebrating young artists like her brother by giving them the platform “to shine their light for all to see.” Other young celebrity family members to strut the catwalk on behalf of Dolce and Gabanna’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2018 show included Christian Combs, son of Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Sophia and Sistine Stallone, daughters of Sylvester Stallone.
But Mylie couldn’t just be happy for her brother getting this high-profile modeling gig. She ended up sparking a feud with her brother’s employers by ending her post with a post-script that took a swipe at the designers for their politics.
