Spring game-breakers: Rising senior Jalynn Williams accounted for both St. Petersburg touchdowns. The first came on a 25-yard run in the second quarter, finishing a brief drive that started at the Naples’ 37-yard line. Williams used his arm for the team’s final score, a 7-yard completion to senior DeShawn Brown, which made the game 14-13 in favor of Naples at the half. … Williams carried the ball six times for 48 yards. Sophomore Tonio Shavers started at QB; his biggest contribution was a 16-yard run during the Green Devils’ second scoring drive.

Did you know? St. Petersburg turned the ball over three times. Williams’ first score came immediately after Naples declined a pass interference penalty.
